This week, MFA candidate Jay Hendrick exhibits his thesis work at the School of Art. The show, titled Collude Collide, features his paintings on canvas, cardboard and other materials traditional and not. One hulking piece in the show consists of 100 paintings successively painted and stretched over the same frame. (The back of this piece is pictured above).
So, stop by Fenwick Gallery to see Jay’s work alongside the books he chose as his most prized. Then, head over to the School of Art (Fine Art Gallery, Art & Design building) to see his thesis exhibit. A sure cure for the mid-semester blues!
