Room, A zine about my time living in this pandemic. The beginning of the lock down was exciting and scary but as it continued to drag on, I’ve been feeling more and more overwhelmed. The idea of going back to normal life is dreadful yet not being able to interact with friends and classmates in person has affected my ability to socialize and express my feelings in a way that feels natural. This Zine corroborates my emotions toward the pandemic, how it encroaches in my space, the vines that invade the scenes represent the duality of feeling this impending idea of returning to a life where I didn’t have to interact with people physically but on the other side missing that interaction. My home acts as a sanctuary from the rest of the world’s problems which is why I choose it as the subject of the zine.
