The current Fenwick Gallery Exhibit, Locale, is curated by Sarah Irvin and features artists’ books, sculptural books and repurposed books that respond directly to the Washington DC area through concept or specific materials. The show features Washington DC area artists as well as George Mason University students and alumni. The work in the exhibit explores topics including local folklore, bird migration, public housing, HIV prevention resources and political structures.
