Call + Response 2014: In 24 hours, everywhere the dawn rises again

C&R-Card-front

Coming this Monday to Fenwick Gallery, a new exhibit featuring collaborations between visual artists and creative writers of George Mason University. This exhibit marks the 6th annual exchange  — a “Call and Response” — curated by professors Helen Frederick (School of Art) and Susan Tichy (English Department) as part of Fall for the Book. The theme this year: In 24 hours, everywhere the dawn rises again.

Artists and writers were put into pairs, with one as “caller” and the other as “responder.” Come and see the work each pair produced out of their collaboration, ranging in medium from poetry to painting, artists books, photography, printmaking, video and more.
