Tomorrow, swing by the School of Art for the opening reception of Nathan Loda’s MFA thesis exhibit in painting! Loda, a 2015 MFA candidate, is also featured in our Verbal/Visual exhibit. His textual influences include the work + life of Andrew Wyeth (as written by Richard Meryman), Glen Holsten’s documentary about painter Bo Bartlett, Sigurd Olson’s The Meaning of Wilderness and Greil Marcus’s The Old, Weird America, about the recording of Bob Dylan’s basement tapes.
